I've been posting all these records here at Blog010110. From the Perfect Series to various Beatles tribute Compilations and records by the worst singers ever. Therefore, dear reader, I think it's high time I started giving away some recordings I've been on myself. Here you go: Part one of what will be the complete Das Oath discography.
Who? Yes! Das Oath. Between 2000 and 2007 I played in a band called Das Oath. We were loud, fast, louder and faster. It was me on drums, Jeroen Vrijhoef on guitar, Nate Wilson on bass and a Mark McCoy on vocals. We must have played around 500 shows in that time. Shows all over the US of A and Europe and we even made it to Japan for a 10-day tour. Pretty crazy especially if you take into account that we were from opposites sites of the Atlantic ocean. Me and Jeroen living in tulipy Holland and both Mark and Nate in New York.
The first release is our first discography. Yes we were so incredible awesome that after three years, before even releasing a regular full length album, we released a discography album with all of our vinyl only releases. It has our first 7" "Transatlantic Thrash Terror", our follow up 9" called "Körperkultur", some compilation stuff (with amongst others a pretty sweet rape attempt of Queen's "We're The Champions") and a split 7" with our Japanese friends Total Fury.
