#500 Banned Lunchables Commercial
A little bird told me that this is a commercial for Lunchablez from 1996, developed to appeal towards urban youth. The commercial never saw the light of day, until now... Whether this is true though I wouldn't know.
By the way. Post number 500. Not bad eh?

#456 James Brown's Miso Soup
Of course Eddy Murphy did a great James Brown parody on SNL back in the 80's, but no one does a better James Brown then James Brown himself. See this Miso soup commercial to understand why.

#441 Windows Phone x Sleigh Bells
There's a lot you can say about Microsoft. For example, that their products don't look nearly as neat as Apple products. However, they do know good music when it comes to their commercials judging from the recent Kinetic ads with ESG and Gang Of Four and now this Windows Phone commercial featuring Sleigh Bells.

#432 New Sizzer Work
This winter we at Sizzer Amsterdam worked really hard on a new campaign for a Diesel fragrance called the Fuel For Life Denim Collection.
We reworked a old disco classic by Patrick Hernadez' called Born To Be Alive and the commercial includes two people that are so incredibly hot, this commercial should be considered extremely NSFW.

#424 United Breaks Guitars
I never heard of this "United Breaks Guitars" song till last Saturday when my buddy Niels Alzen informed me about it. What we have here is a classic example of how internet-power-to-the-people can not only help build a brand, but can also help destroy it.
The story... Country singer Dave Carroll goes on tour in the U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!, flies a United Airlines flight between two places and sees how his $3500 710 Taylor is being thrown around like a bag of potatoes. The guitar ends up broken and when United airlines refuses to pay up, Dave has his revenge the only way he knows how, by writing a youtube sensation called "United Breaks Guitars" that's currently been played over 10.000.000 (10 million) times.

#369 Eminem At The Super Bowl
This weekend the US had their precious little Super Bowl. It's kinda like a big deal over there, I guess compared to world wide standards it's a more feminine version of the world championship soccer final.
Besides the "athletic" part of the show, there is also a big music half time part and a true battle royale of commercials. Lot's of cool things to see on that last part and for a complete overview I strongly suggest you go here.
Eminem was in two commercials during the Super Bowl and quite the commercials they are. Chrysler and Eminem are both "representing" Detroit in a Hip-Hop sense, borrowing heavily from Eminem's 8 Mile film from a while ago.
Eminem and sugar water supplier Brisk are bringing you a commercial on why Eminem is not doing any commercials. Pretty funny as well.
